Picking up from where I left off, I last discussed the challenges Daniel will face with the individual races belonging to those from Daemon's harem. Last time, I went over reptile girls, orcs, and lycan(s). Sorry, I still don't know the plural.
Today, I wish to continue with three more races.
Let's talk Tabitha's race, the Nekos. These feline creatures are notoriously known for being crafty, sly, and generally untrustworthy. However, that's a bit prejudiced. Just as not all arachne are wicked, so too must there be honest, trustworthy nekos. Tabitha herself, though very greedy, is not cruel. She doesn't torture or torment people like Dark Ones. She views herself as an "adventurer", and though her title in Daemon's harem is that of "assassin," I've yet to see her assassinate anyone (as far as my knowledge goes).
Nevertheless, Daniel will need to be careful. Thankfully, his encounters with Falla, giant butterflies, and the Gemini have taught him to be wary about who he trusts. He should be able to have a reasoned talk with the nekos at the very least. Whether or not he's successful, well, that's another question. Plus, they may very well ask for some . . . incentive in exchange for their support.
Next up, Scay's race: Nagas. These snake women are known for a strong constricting grip, powerful tails, and being amazingly fast. Unfortunately, Scay has been the only naga we've gotten to know in the series and, given her mental condition, I'm not sure what nagas are usually like OR how they live.
Mind you, this isn't an affront on Scay's character. Though insane, she's very kind and only wants to belong and be liked. Take away her condition, and she's a prime example of a good naga, especially given that she's one of Mika's closest friends.
As for Daniel, I don't see the nagas to be any more difficult or any less a challenge for him. They'll be another race whose differences and personalities he'll have to confront. Then again, as I said, we don't know much about nagas or how they live. One thing is for sure, though: they don't specilize in shoes or pants!
And now we come to Hollia's race: Centaurs. While the centaurs of Ruhelia have more-or-less shown strong support and admiration for Daniel after he avenged their empress and people, there's still the 'challenge' they've presented him at the end of S.2-Act II. With Kroanette as the new empress, the centaurs will likely soon join the Alliance.
Plus, being Kroanette's mate, it technically means that Hollia is Daniel's sister-in-law. I can honestly see them getting along and liking each other.
However, there is one possible problem. . . .
As I've stated before in the past, the Sisterhood was formed out of Jovian's & Jacqueline's humiliation and anger at failing to kill Daniel. They formed their evil faction purely to destroy his dream of peace. And, if this fact were ever leaked, Hollia and the centaurs may look at Daniel in a negative light. Some may even outright blame him for everything that's happened.
Otherwise, I don't think the centaurs would have any issues with Daniel's dream of peace, especially seeing as how much he loves Kroanette. Once the centaurs clean up their act, and humans look past their appearance, they'll see the wonderful, beautiful women they are. Plus, Max and Lelu are prime examples of a human and centaur having feelings for each other, so their relationship could be evidence too.
And that'll wrap things up for the today. Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section and I'll see you all again in Part III.
